January 10, 2009 (Saturday) - District Board Meeting - Fort Wadsworth, Staten Island.  Starting at 0900 hours.

January 14, 2009 (Wednesday) - Flotilla 10-13 Monthly meeting will not be held, our COW on the 30th will be our January meeting HOWEVER:

2009 FSOs will meet at 1930 hours at the Larkin House. 

January 17, 2009 (Saturday) - ICS 210 class is being offered on Saturday, 17 January, Location: Northport, NY.  The POC for all courses is Donna Cole donnacole@optonline.net. Reminder ICS210 is REQUIRED for all Pilots and Coxswains by 31 March 2009 to maintain your currency. You MUST reserve a slot with Donna DO NOT just show up for the class, class size is limited and the instructor will only be bringing enough materials for the known registered students.  If your plans change be sure to contact Donna or the instructor to cancel.

January 23, 2009 (Friday) - Division 10 COW at the Bethwood in Totowa, NJ.  2000-0000 hours.  Tickets are $55. More details to follow or check the Division 10 website. 

January 24, 2009 (Saturday) - ICS 210 class is being offered on Saturday, 24 January, Location: SFO Moriches.  The POC for all courses is Donna Cole donnacole@optonline.net. Replies should include: Name, emplid, Flotilla, contact number and e-mail address. Sign-ups must be done no later than 12 January so that final exams can be ordered.

Materials: Student study guides (on CD) may be ordered by your FSO-MA or downloaded at

Students are expected to read the course materials prior to the class. A review will be held after lunch on 31 Jan and those wishing to take the test may do so on this date. An AuxOp proctor will be present. Paper exams will be available. Those with internet capabilities may take the test online.

January 30, 2009 (Friday) - Flotilla 10-13 Change of Watch at Charlie Browns (in the banquet room) on 335 Paterson Plank Road in Carlstadt NJ 07072 (201-842-9999) from 1900 -2300 hours.  Hot and Cold Hors D'oevours.  Steak, Chicken or Fish, cash bar. $25 per person, RSVP Donna Formato or Pat Ermilio by January 14, 2009.  UNIFORM OF THE DAY SHALL BE: SERVICE DRESS BLUE, ALPHA or APPROPRIATE CIVILIAN ATTIRE.

March 27-29, 2009 (Friday-Sunday) - District training and awards conference in Mystic CT.

March 28-29, 2009 (Saturday-Sunday) - Beneath the Sea dive show at the meadowlands.  If you will not be at the District Conference, watch standers are needed.

April, 25, 2009 (Saturday) - Hooked on Hudson.  Watch standers needed.  Contact Marge Korteweg for details.

Recurring Meetings/Events

Flotilla 10-13 meetings - Second Wednesday of every month, starting at 2000, at the Larkin house 380 Godwin Ave. in Wyckoff.

Division 10 meetings - Third Wednesday of every month, starting at 2000, at the American Legion Hall at 33 W. Passaic St in Rochelle Park, NJ

Flotilla Member Training - Begins again January 2008.  Thursday nights at the Oakland School when school is in session and at the Larkin House, 380 Godwin Ave., in Wyckoff during the summer months and whenever the Oakland schools are closed.  All are welcome.  Start time is typically 1930 hours.  If you are planning on taking an AuxOp test and need some help preparing.  Contact our member training officer Henry Uiga to arrange for a class.
